Liebelt — Deck to sunroom conversion

This recent project transformed a modest side deck into a stunning indoor-outdoor living space tailored for both comfort and connection to the outdoors.

We began by removing the small existing deck on the side of the home to make way for a spacious sunroom. Designed to capture ample natural light, the new addition extends the living space and enhances the home’s overall flow. To create visual and functional continuity, we carried the existing hardwood flooring into the sunroom, creating a seamless transition from the original home to the new space.

In the next phase of the project, we removed an existing fireplace and window to install a large sliding glass door. This new feature opens directly onto a spacious backyard-facing deck—perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The deck includes a partially covered area to provide shade while still offering plenty of space to enjoy the sun.

For the finishing touch, we installed a high-quality aluminum railing system that offers safety without compromising the view. The sleek design blends effortlessly into the deck, ensuring unobstructed sightlines to the beautiful backyard.
